Select Warehouse Item for POs

This page opens when you click the lookup for Warehouse ID or Item ID on PO Setup Tabs for One-to-Many or One-to-One Allocations.

Use this form to make selections for Warehouse / Warehouse Inventory Items when creating purchase orders to reorder Warehouse Items in the Inventory Module.

Fields

Include Unavailable Items (check box)

Check the box to show for selection in the grid Warehouse Items that are unavailable, i.e., have a Quantity Available of 0 in the warehouse.

Warehouse ID

The read-only Warehouse ID of the Warehouse available for selection in the grid. It appears in the grid in combination with the Item ID, i.e., you select a line that

Item ID

The read-only Item ID and description of the Item available for selection in the grid.

Description

The description of the Item, for example, Paint Roller.

Part Number

The part number of the Item, for example, 200112233.

Class

The class for the Item, for example, Painting.

Procedure

  1. From the Purchase Orders General tab, click the Warehouse ID or Item ID lookup .

  2. Click the line in the grid that shows the Warehouse ID / Item ID combination desired.The Select Warehouse Item pop-up closes and your selection appears on the line in the Add/Edit Purchase Order - General Tab.
